Landslide on I-5 near Bellingham Saturday morning. (Trooper H. Axtman)
Heavy rain and strong winds downed trees, knocked out power, and caused landslides Friday night into Saturday morning.
All northbound lanes of I-5 are closed about six miles south of Bellingham for a landslide. No injuries were reported, but traffic is being rerouted. The Washington State Patrol says the slide is about 60 feet wide and seven feet deep.
KIRO 7 Meteorologist Morgan Palmer reported a wind gust at Paine Field in Everett Friday evening that was 59 mph.
Most of the power outages have been reported in Snohomish, Skagit, and Kitsap Counties. Check here for the latest updates:

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for most of Western Washington as rivers rise. The NWS reported the Olympics got 2 to 5 inches of rain Friday night. The Cascades received 1 to 3 inches and the lowlands saw about an inch fall overnight.
The cold front is expected to move south into Sunday. Earlier predictions of snow over the weekend have diminished, but forecasters say there is another chance mid-week.
