Perplexed by indifference

I don’t understand this crisis (coronavirus). I see some people with masks, others not. I see people hanging out, clearly disobeying the six-foot social distance rule. I wish police would do something, because those thoughtless people may get us sick or worse.

Eager to resume recycling

Sure wish they would start recycling again (Lapeer County Drop-off Recycling). I have bags and bags of stuff. Just do the distancing thing and tell people to stay in their cars and it can work.

‘No one is trying to take away your dumb rights’

I think that everyone complaining about the governor doing her job is ridiculous. If she was a male Republican doing the exact same thing, this wouldn’t be an issue at all. If she hadn’t acted quickly and strictly, and many more people have died, people would be up in arms.

Why are you up in arms now? No one is trying to take your dumb rights. Just shut up already.

Kudos to Gov. Whitmer

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has done a good job handling the COVID-19 crisis. Nobody was ever going to be totally happy with everything during times such as what we’re living today. Saving lives had to be the top priority and I think she made it that.

Whitmer has milked the coronavirus for everything she could to raise her political stature among Democrats. If we’re lucky Joe Biden will name her his running mate and we’ll be done with her.
