One juvenile died and two suffered serious injuries in a four-wheeler accident late Wednesday in Buckland, troopers said.
Four juveniles were riding the four-wheeler before the crash, troopers wrote in an online statement. Troopers did not provide their ages.
Troopers were notified just before 11:30 p.m. and said the accident remains under investigation. It was not immediately clear how the four-wheeler crashed, they said.
The village of Buckland is about 50 miles southeast of Kotzebue in Northwest Alaska.
The body will be sent to the state medical examiners office for an autopsy, troopers said.
