OSHA's Safe + Sound Week from August 10-16, 2020 - Occupational Health and Safety

OSHA’s Safe + Sound Week from August 10-16, 2020

You can participate in OSHA’s Safe + Sound week next month to commit to workplace safety and health. This nationwide event recognizes the successes of workplace safety and health programs and offers important information for the safety of America’s workers.

OSHA’s Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event for recognizing successful safety programs and relaying updated safety and health information for America’s workers. Successful safety and health programs can proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before injury or illness—which improves sustainability, bottom line and worker retention.

Participating in Safe + Sound can help get your program started, improve an existing one or provide a chance to recognize your safety successes. Last year, more than 3,300 businesses helped to raise awareness about workers’ health and safety.

You can participate in three easy steps on the Safe + Sound website: sign up; plan and promote your events; and recognize your participation. You can even use an interactive U.S. map to see who else has signed up to participate, and where those participants are located.

Start planning now for the week of August 10-16. Wherever you are during this pandemic, safety is still key, and you can take care of your workers everywhere.
