Follow the rules!
The situation is getting worse, not better, across the country as COVID-19 cases continue to rise in many states — including Michigan. If we ever want this to go away people have to follow the rules, and that means not to have parades during a pandemic.

‘Wrong’ to make COVID-19 about politics
The coronavirus has been made a political hot potato, and that’s unfortunate. When this nightmare is over we as a nation can assess what was done right and wrong, but for sure making it about politics was the wrong thing to do when people are dying alone in hospitals.

There’s always next year
I would’ve liked to go to a parade or watch fireworks on July 4 like everyone else, but I also know we’ll be able to do this kind of stuff next year when it’s hopefully safer.

Equal opportunity killer
The virus (COVID-19) doesn’t care if you voted for Trump or Governor Whitmer. It will sicken and kill anyone with indifference to political association. Let’s at least listen to health officials who care about saving people from death due to foolish and selfish social behavior. COVID-19 is an equal opportunity killer.
Would rather be working
It’s a mean and inaccurate generalization to say people collecting unemployment are lazy. COVID took my job, it’s nothing I did. I would like to be back to work. Show a little compassion.

COVID ‘a media hoax’ to make Trump look bad
Gov. Whitmer should be recalled for her handling of the coronavirus. She single-handedly put Michigan into a recession over a media hoax to make President Trump look bad in an election year.

‘Thanks’ to road commission
The road commission has done a great job this summer on our road. Thanks for keeping it as smooth as possible.
