PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's golf program will welcome four new members to the program after its first inaugural class graduated this past May, Head Coach/Director of Golf Scott Yurgalevicz announced Thursday. The Explorers welcome Hannah Basler, Libby Gilliland, Megan Ruffing, and Kayleigh Zeman.Hannah Basler | 5-4 | Highlands Ranch, Co. | ThunderRidge

During her junior campaign, she garnered All-State Honorable Mention and First Team All-League honors. Basler was also a Second Team All-League honoree as a sophomore.
"Hannah is one of the cornerstones of this recruiting class," Yurgalevicz said. "Her improvement over her four years in high school was tremendous and we are confident that trend will continue at La Salle. She's an experienced tournament player and should make a very quick impact on the team."
Libby Gilliland | 5-3 | Louisville, Ky. | Presentation Academy
Gilliland is one of three out of state recruits for the Explorers. She graduated from the Presentation Academy in Louisville, Ky. A four-year letterwinner in golf, Gilliland was named the Kentucky High School Athletic Association Student-Athlete of the Year as a senior. "Libby, the daughter of a PGA professional in Louisville, is no stranger to the game of golf as she grew up around it 24/7," Yugalevicz said. "Libby's potential is off the charts - she's a hard worker and continues to improve on the course. Her accolades off the course speak for themselves and we confident her skills will translate to the northeast at 20th & Olney."
Megan Ruffing | 5-5 |West Lawn, Pa. | Wilson
The lone Keystone State recruit, Megan Ruffing hails from West Lawn, Pa. and graduated from Wilson High School. During her final season, she posted an 80.0 scoring average en route to claiming the Berks County Girl's Golf Championship. "The reigning Berks County Girls Golf Champion, Megan Ruffing will joining the squad this year and we're glad to have her," Yurgalevicz said. "She has excelled locally and is our only in-state recruit for this class. Having some familiarity with the types of courses we play during the season will be an advantage and she can share that knowledge with her fellow teammates who hail from all other corners of the country. I'm really looking forward to seeing what she is capable of!"
Kayleigh Zeman | 6-0 | Silver Spring, Md. | Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart
Kayleigh Zeman joins the roster after graduating from Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart this past May. She was a four-year letterwinner on the golf team and garnered high honors academically in all four years. A two-time team captain, Zeman was named her team's MVP for each of her last three seasons. Away from school, she played in the 2018 PURE Insurance Championship Impacting the First Tee where she was partnered with Fred Couples.
"Kayleigh is top recruit coming out of Maryland," Yurgalevicz said. "An experienced tournament player, Kayleigh has shown the potential to go low, utilizing her distance off the tee and ability to make birdies. We're excited to see what she is capable of doing when she gets to La Salle!"
