Masks not a guarantee
To all the “I told you so people” the fact that the President got COVID is not proof that masks or lack of one was the cause. Are you saying that none of the 36 million people that contracted COVID were wearing a mask? That wearing a mask will protect you 100%? Data shows that is not true. So give it a rest!
The virus is real, not a hoax. The inflated death toll, however, is and will continue until after the election.

‘Wear the darn masks’
To those who have their head in the sand, the new cases of school staff and students in Lapeer County is proof that the virus is real. Wear the darn masks and stay away from gatherings with people you don’t know.

Keep wearing the masks!
I think they ought to make masks mandatory and close up the unnecessary businesses, because every time they open the COVID cases rise. You gotta wear masks. That’s what the governor is trying to do to keep people safe, but everybody is getting on her back because they think she’s too strict. I don’t think she’s strict enough in my opinion. Wear the masks and stay safe.

Children at risk?
How can they open schools when people are getting sick there? Something doesn’t add up. Why put children and teachers at risk of a deadly disease?

Listen to the experts
One (COVID-19) case, one death is too many. Listen to the experts. Wear masks, stay apart from one another and don’t eat in crowded restaurants. It’s common sense.

Favors marijuana stores
The more the merrier, that’s what I say about marijuana stores in Lapeer. Competition might give better prices and service. The sky won’t fall and life will go on.

‘Keep him accountable’
There are many great school board candidates for Lapeer. They just need to ask hard questions of Matt Wandrie, because they need to keep him accountable.
