
Fred VanVleet has agreed to a four-year, $85 million deal to re-sign with the Toronto Raptors, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
VanVleet's contract will reportedly include a player option in the fourth season.
He returns to a Raptors' team that thrived in the NBA bubble and was one game away from making it to the Eastern Conference finals, losing to the Boston Celtics 4–3 in the semifinals series.
VanVleet averaged 17.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game throughout the 2020 season. In the 2020 playoffs, VanVleet averaged 19.6 points and 6.9 assists.
