Two teenagers and an 8-year-old were among four people who died Wednesday in a New Braunfels house fire, the Guadalupe Fire Marshal said.
First responders were called to the 300 block of Leisure Village Drive and arrived to find the home fully engulfed, Guadalupe County Fire Marshal Patrick Pinder said in a news release.
Crews requested additional resources in an attempt to rescue those trapped inside, but it was too late.
Officials said two males, ages 8 and 44, and two females, ages 16 and 18, were trapped inside and died. They have not been identified.
Another person inside the home was able to escape.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but officials said it doesn't appear to be suspicious at this time.
