‘Thanks’ to the people who decorated their homes for Christmas
In this time of COVID that has taken so many Christmas traditions away from us it’s nice to load the kids in the car, turn on Christmas music and drive around and look at all the lights. So, for the people who took the time and expense to decorate their homes to show their Christmas spirit thank you very, very much.

In the Christmas spirit
I think more people this year put up lights and decorations on their homes and yards. Maybe it was because it was one thing people could do during COVID to do something fun that brings joy to everyone who sees them. It was very beautiful in many neighborhoods.

Politics as usual
So John Miller runs for prosecuting attorney, a job that he knew pays $99,000 a year and before he even starts the job he seeks a $17,000 a year increase in pay by shuffling some responsibilities. Local politics at work.

More money will help
Trump is right. Six-hundred dollars is hardly enough to make any difference, so I’m with him to increase it to $2,000 per person and $2,400 for families. The low-ball amount of $600 was insulting.

Throwing money around
Here we go again. Congress and the President want to throw more money at people, most who don’t even need it. Now it will be hard to get people to go back to work again.

Tell us what you think
Research shows that as many as 50% of adults in the United States make New Year’s resolutions, but fewer than 10% actually keep them for more than a few months. For many people, 2020 has been an especially difficult year due to forced changes and uncertainty resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. If you make a resolution, has the pandemic changed what you will look to do differently in 2021?
