COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Four Broncos are among the student-athletes recognized Monday afternoon by the Mountain West Conference with postseason honors in volleyball. Jessica Donahue, Lauren Ohlinger and Danielle Boss all received All-MW honors, while Annie Kaminski was named the Mountain West Newcomer of the Year. This marks the seventh-consecutive year that the Broncos have had at least three members of their team honored with postseason MW awards.

This is the second all-conference honor for Jessica Donahue who earned the same accolade in 2019 and was the 2018 MW Freshman of the Year. As a junior this spring, Donahue led the MW and was ranked sixth nationally for blocks per set at 1.59. In addition, the native of Roseville, Calif., led the team and was second in the MW for hitting percentage at .376. Donahue recorded a MW-high 78 blocks this season and currently has 376 career blocks to rank eighth all-time in program history.

This is the first All-MW honor Boss who was honorable mention as a sophomore in 2019. The second year starter at setter led Boise State and was second in the MW for assists per set at 9.65, she was also second in total assists with 521. As setter, she led the team to a hitting percentage of .231, second in the league. Boss led the team in double-doubles with nine and had six games with five or more blocks. Boss' 521 assists in spring 2021 gives her a career total of 2,151 to rank ninth all-time in Bronco history.

Lauren Ohlinger is also a first time All-MW honoree. The sophomore outside hitter was the 2019 MW Freshman of the Year during her first campaign wearing the blue and orange. Ohlinger started all 15 contests and led the league most of the way in kills per set until late in the season, she finished third at 3.96 and third in total kills with 218. The native of Phoenix, Ariz., was third in the conference for points per set at 4.48 and third in total points with 246.5.

Annie Kaminski is the third Bronco to be named the Mountain West Newcomer of the Year and the fourth all-time to earn a conference newcomer of the year accolade. She joins Kaitlyn Oliver (2014) and Morgan Hughes (2018) to receive this award during the MW era. Kaminski played in 11 matches this spring, she was ranked ninth in the MW for hitting percentage at .342 and ninth for blocks per set at 1.03.
