Residents of Mayfair Estates remain in shock after learning that six neighbors perished from an early morning house fire Friday in the 9900 block of Glass Road.

Those who spoke with the Observer described a family that mostly kept to themselves. “I didn’t know them at all,” said Kathy Snead, who has lived in the neighborhood for 35 years.
