DURHAM, N.H. — Four players registered multiple goals on Saturday, but it wasn't enough as the Hartford women's lacrosse team dropped a 15-10 decision at New Hampshire in its 2021 season finale. Junior Jessica Harrison netted a team-high four goals, while freshman Dylan Halloran recorded her first career hat trick for the Hawks (0-9, 0-9 AE).

Elizabeth Blanding scored five goals to lead the Wildcats, who finish their season with a 4-7 overall record, including a 3-6 mark in the America East.

Halloran's first career goal 52 seconds after first draw gave the Hawks the early advantage. New Hampshire quickly answered, though, as four different players found the back of the net over a nine-minute stretch to put the Wildcats up, 4-1, with 18:51 left. A free-position goal from Harrison followed by Halloran's second strike of the day pulled Hartford within a pair on two occasions, but New Hampshire ended the half by scoring three of the final four to take an 8-4 lead into the break.

The Wildcats held the advantage over the first 10 minutes of the second half, outscoring the Hawks by a 4-2 margin to go up by a 12-6 count. Hartford, which fell behind by as many as seven, ended the game on a hot note by scoring three of the last four goals over the final eight minutes to pull within five before the final horn.
