
GILROY – Four people were injured in a head-on crash south of Gilroy on Friday night, authorities said.
The four-vehicle crash was reported at Highway 25 and Bolsa Road, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection Santa Clara Unit said in a social media post just after 8 p.m.
Four people suffered moderate to major injuries in the crash, said Cal Fire, adding that two people were initially trapped but later freed. The victims were taken to hospitals.
Just before 8:30 p.m., Cal Fire said crews would be clearing the scene shortly but delays would persist.
