Four Dragons Emerge Victorious at Penn Fall Invitational - Drexel Dragons

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's tennis team had four Dragons win matches on day two of the Penn Fall Invitational. The Dragons combined to win two singles points and took two doubles matches from the Red Storm. 
 
Alex De Sousa remains unbeaten this season as the sophomore won both his doubles and singles match against St. John's. De Sousa paired up with Alan Jesudason in the top-seeded slot in doubles play and downed their opponents, 6-3. Matvey Radionov and Djordje Janackovic teamed up in the No. 4 doubles match and won with a similar score, 6-3. 
 
In singles play, two Dragons outplayed their opponents and won matches. De Sousa defeated his opponent in three sets in the top-seeded flight, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. To round out the Dragons' day at the Penn Fall Invitational, Janackovic earned a two-set win in the No. 8 match, 6-4, 7-6. 
 
Drexel returns to the Penn Fall Invitational for its last day of competition on Sunday. The Dragons will face Penn State in a hidden dual format starting at 11:30 a.m.
