Four people are displaced from their home Thursday after a fire broke out in a residential garage in the Skyline neighborhood of San Diego, authorities said.
San Diego firefighters received a call of a garage fire at a home on Shorewood Drive, near Meadowbrook and Skyline Drives at 7:19 p.m., Battalion Chief Matt Nilsen said.
It was extinguished within 20 minutes and no one was injured in the fire.
Nilsen said damage was isolated to the garage but the Red Cross was contacted to assist the four residents who were displaced.
The cause of the fire is unknown, Nilsen said.
