Outpost in the Burbs will host Fantastic Cat, a “super-group” comprised of four singer songwriters — Anthony D’Amato, Brian Dunne, Don DiLego and Mike Montali (Hollis Brown) — on Saturday, Dec. 11.
This concert will take place at the First Congregational Church, 40 S. Fullerton
Avenue, at 8 p.m.
The four songwriters joined forces to record their debut album, “The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat,” featuring a mix of genres and decades, according to an Outpost in the Burbs press release. The music includes 1960’s folk, 1970’s AM radio gold, 1980’s heartland rock and 1990’s alt-country, the release said.
The album “balances careful craftsmanship and ecstatic abandon in equal measure, a raw, intoxicating collection captured live in the moment and fueled by the chemistry of four longtime friends making music for the sheer joy of it,” the release said.
Tickets for this shows are on sale now and can be purchased via TicketLeap on the Outpost in the Burbs website, outpostintheburbs.org.
