Four Oaks, N.C. — A man on a motorcycle died in a crash near Four Oaks on Friday afternoon.
The crash happened when Ricky Herring, 64, drove his motorcycle left of center and sideswiped an oncoming pickup truck on N.C. Highway 96 South,
No one else was hurt.
The highway was shut down for about 90 minutes while officials investigated the crash.
