BOSTON – Ahead of a highly anticipated return to action, the UMass Lowell Athletic Department announced that four of this year's key River Hawk hockey matchups will be aired on NESN, the home of the Boston Bruins and Red Sox, through its partnership with the Hockey East Association.

The first of four matchups highlights a battle between the River Hawks and the Northeastern Huskies on Nov. 12. The 7 p.m. tilt will air on NESN+.

UMass Lowell's next three matchups are set to air on NESN, as they take on Connecticut on Nov. 20, Kennedy Cup foes Massachusetts on Dec. 3, and Maine on Jan. 15. The clash with the UConn Huskies is slated for an early 3:30 p.m. puck drop, while the other two NESN clashes will start at 7 p.m.

In addition to the four featured home games, two River Hawk road battles will also air on the network. The Feb. 13 battle with nearby New Hampshire will air on NESN at 2 p.m. Just days later, UMass Lowell travels to Providence on Feb. 19 for a 4:30 p.m. game that will air on NESN+.

This year's 104 game TV schedule marks the largest-ever agreement between Hockey East and NESN, who have been partnered for the entirety of the league's existence. In 2019, Hockey East became NESN's premier college partner.
