Four Women's Lacrosse Athletes Named Honorable Mention All-ECAC - Naval Academy Athletics - NavySports.com

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its 2022 Division I Women's Lacrosse All-ECAC Team and four members of the Navy women's lacrosse team – Alexis Bell (Johns Creek, Ga.), Gil Eby (Towson, Md.), Christine Fiore (Darien, Conn.), and Reagan Roelofs (Apple Valley, Minn.) – were named Honorable Mention All-ECAC.
 
Alexis Bell – Defender | Sr. | 5-7 | Johns Creek, Ga. | Northview
Bell was part of a Navy defense that held opponents to two or fewer goals in 47 (of 80) quarters, including holding opponents scoreless for 10 quarters, while holding 10 opponents, including seven Patriot League foes, to single digit goals scored. She served as one of Navy's top one-on-one defenders, while being named Patriot League Defender of the Week twice during the year (Feb. 14, April 4). Bell notched caused turnovers in 17 of Navy's 20 games with multiple CTs in six games, including five consecutive Patriot League games to end the regular season. She picked up ground balls in 15 of 20 games with multiple GB in eight games.
 
Gil Eby – Midfielder | Sr. | 5-9 | Towson, Md. | Notre Dame Prep
A two-time First Team All-Patriot League honoree (2021, '22), Eby was second on the team with 47 total points and 39 goals scored – the most among Navy midfielders. She was second on the team with 13 multi-goal games in 20 games played with four hat tricks, including three games with four or more goals scored. Eby tallied 34 ground balls, 32 draw controls and 14 caused turnovers. She registered three or more ground balls in seven games on the year, while causing at least one turnover in 11 games.
 
Christine Fiore – Defender | Sr. | 6-0 | Darien, Conn. | Darien
Fiore, the Navy defensive team captain, earned First Team All-Patriot League distinction for the second consecutive season (2021, '22). She led the team with 45 ground balls, while adding 16 caused turnovers and six draw controls. During the year, Fiore picked up at least one ground ball in 19 of 20 games this season with 16 multi-GB performances. She caused turnovers in 12 games, including multiple CT in four games. In addition, she scored 13 points on eight goals and five assists despite being on defense.
 
Reagan Roelofs – Attacker | Sr. | 5-9 | Apple Valley, Minn. | Apple Valley
Roelofs was a two-time All-Patriot League selection, claiming first-team accolades as a senior and second-team honors as a junior. The Navy offensive captain led the team in goals (53), assists (18), points (71), and draw controls (123). She ranked in the Top 15 this season in the Patriot League in Draw Controls Per Game (3rd), Goals (4th), Goals Per Game (5th), Points (7th), Points Per Game (7th), Free Position Percentage (9th), Free Position Goals Per Game (11th), and Assists Per Game (11th). Roelofs finished the season with 11 hat tricks in 19 games played with 16 total multi-goal games.
